Doing On-Cycle Recruiting 1 Year Later
I'm an incoming analyst and just curious if its possible to do on-cycle recruiting 1 year later - as opposed to immediately. I would imagine I would have to stay an extra year as a third year analyst.

You definitely can. Some analysts at my BB did recruiting during their 2nd year and still managed to leave banking in 2 years. I would say the split between that scenario and doing a 3rd year is 50/50, based on my immediate network at least. Regardless, recruiting 1 year in may actually be seen as a good thing given how early PE recruiting is happening these days.
Thanks, definitely okay with doing a third year.
