Doubtful about SMD's position at Blackstone due to being a cheapskate.
I know someone who is a former SMD at Blackstone and I am doubtful they even are one. Even though it says it on Linkedin, I don't buy it. Since this guy never spends money, I mean never. He only spends money when necessary and has over 8 figures worth of BX stock. I have never seen him fly first class, only business and his kids go in coach. They never take lavish vacations, the only vacations they take to relatives' houses. The cherry on top is that his wife has no designer jewelry or items. Hence, making it very clear to me that he may be a fraud.

know there's variation across BUs & roles, but how much does a BX SMD role earn on average?
I asked my immediate family member who is the man the post is about. He didn't tell me how much he makes including carry and bonus, however he told me base salary was 350K a year for all SMD's and then carry makes up a large portion of their salaries.
