Our fund needs some limited partners or some co-investors for a deal we want to get ourselves involved in. However, we are lacking some equity investors. Of course, we could go to institutional investors or pension funds, or even a capital raising firm/IB to do it for us; but we are looking for individuals that would like to be investors with us, since we want to personally investment in this investment. Does anyone know any free databases of interested PE investors that are willing to put money in a sound investment? I've seen a lot of directories that you would have to pay for, and quite frankly I don't think it's trustworthy. Anyone know of any free websites/forums that cater to the potential equity investors' population? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
