Equity Sales At Jefferies Vs Billionaire's Family Office
Ongoing discussion right now, would you say working in the investment team of a billionaires single family office (mostly LP investing + some direct and co-investing) is a "more prestigious" career path than being an equity sales at Jeffries?
Comparing salary is a bit difficult due to different countries. Asking the same in the s&t forum to get a better view.
What are the countries? What's the comp? What kind of billionaire?
Personally would lean towards the family office unless you're an attractive woman (they tend to crush equity sales).
Jeffries in a cont. European country vs 2nd generation billionaire. I am be working together with the billionaire himself.
Personally I think SFO is always superior but wanted to get outside validation
