Exit opportunities for fund finance in a Bank

Hi all, I'm currently working in the institutional banking space to do fund finance from the credit perspective. The products I am working on include capital calls, FX historical rollover rate and maybe NAV financing at the fund level in the future.I used to be in IB. The work now is a bit mandane and further away from modeling and financial analysis. In the long run, I still want to join a fund. It can be a PE or PC fund, though PC seems to be more related to what I'm doing now. In order to do so, what's the advice from you?Are there any other exit opportunities? I just feel the skills now are not that transferable.

Capital markets within a fund is your best shot on the buyside. If you have a lot of experience underwriting individual names for NAV finance then a direct lending fund might be an option.

Thanks! Could you please elaborate more on what capital market team does in the fund? I used to focus more on the investment team and was not aware of this capital market team in a fund.
