Exiting from a PE shop focused on real assets to a tech-focused PE shop

Hi All,

I wanted to gauge your experiences with recruiting for tech-focused PE firms like Silver Lake/Thoma Bravo when coming from a strong-brand name PE firm focused on real-assets? Is it possible? Any tips on how it can be done? Does having a STEM degree help in this?

Thanks!
