What would you consider fair comp for a relatively new fund ($1-2B last fundraise) in a non-NYC city like Biston, LA, Chicago for both 2 year post graduation roles (I.e. immediately post banking) as well as first promotion (2 years into working at the fund).
Currently looking at 200-250 all in.

200 is definitively low. seems like 250-275 cash more realistic.
with that said, if you think the fund has legs, then it could be a great long-term opportunity and you don't need to quibble over +/- 25, but wouldn't accept 200
