Financing rate for case study these days
Current MBA student interviewing for PE roles. What's the US debt financing market like for LMM / MM these days? How much of bank debt and other tranches of debt can you get? What's general pricing range?
At my LMM in industrials have been seeing 4.5 - 5.0x unitranche and pricing at S+575 - 700. Seems really hard to get 5x these days when that was the floor a year ago.

Sub debt basically died. Most of the big names gone through unitranche or just a mezz private. Probably get 3-4x and then a 1-2x sub if I had to guess.

You said sub debt is dead, but that funds are still doing uni tranche.
If so, then whats the other tranche of debt theyre doing instead of sub debt? Wouldn’t it just be senior?
