Finding a Co-CEO/President/Entrepreneur Type?

Traditional fundamental L/s PM, highly experienced, working with well known primes, seeking experienced finance person to collaborate/partner on building an asset management business.

I came out of a multibillion dollar AUM SM fund, now building an AM business. Large allocators know me, like the initial l/s strategy (natural resources focus), fund raising going well, working with prospective anchors. But how to find an ambitious organization builder as a partner? Wearing too many hats presently.

Can be someone from IB/PE/VC, doesn’t need to be from HF world per se. Ex PE ex VC world works, for instance. Doesn’t need to be fluent in skew/positve gamma/factors, that sort of thing.

My primes are flipping me resumes from their data based, but they’re not quite what I’m looking for. Too ops-heavy, not CEO/co-CEO material. Need a broader selection. More polished, more executive candidates.

What’s a better way to find someone wanting a new career course? Someone who wants to build an asset management firm. Working my network too, but need more leads.
