FINRA Exams
I was curious what exams people starting in PE need to take. I would think you don’t need the 79 because it’s for IB, I’d imagine you need SIE, was looking for some insight here. Thanks.

I’m not in PE so I can’t answer 100% but you need the SIE before anything else now, just like a prerequisite. I’d be surprised if you need the 79 since that is strictly for “investment banking representatives”.
