Firm Events for oncycle
How important are firm dinners to the process? Was invited to one but will be out of the country- trying to figure out if I should cancel plans and accommodations to attend. Just didn't think these would be scheduled so soon. Have met associates in other capacities and know a bit about the firm but trying to gauge if this is a bona fide first round or not.

You don’t want to be abroad when on-cycle kicks off.
If you don’t go to the firm dinner, I would generally expect to be cut from oncycle with that firm. Maybe if you have a great relationship and very valid excuse you can swing it buttttt
