Does anyone have a list of PE firms / investment banks that regularly post industry research reports to their websites? For those of us working in the lower middle-market (and even middle-market), you very well may have limited to no access to industry standard databases, and these free reports can be invaluable. I'm going to look around a bit more and post what I can find. Would be great to use this post to start a master list if one doesn't exist already!

Found a couple things that are helpful. Pitchbook has a lot of free reports on their site. And the National Center for the Middle Market does quarterly surveys on business activity, sentiment, employment etc.
Hire college students as interns and tap the databases their Universities pay for ie.) Bloomberg/FactSet/CapitalIQ/IBIS World
Forgot about that. Was very helpful when I was an intern previously, the school I went to had a gold mine of equity research options too (Cowen, Jefferies, Evercore, DB, JPM, RBC, BofA, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Barclays, etc.). And my account even worked for another full year after I graduated.
