From SWF ME into US market

10 years of IB in London (NatRes, Infra)

2 years of Direct Investments and Portfolio Management at a top SWF in the Middle East. Generalist but focussing on real estate and infra.

Moving to the US in a few months. What’s the best angle to find a job there?

  • go back into IB? As a Director?
  • Canadian funds, Super funds?
  • Some regional, mid tier private equity fund?
  • Corp dev in a major city?

I’m location agnostic, but partner wants to move back to the US (NY preferred but other places OK too)

I’m at around $400k TC all cash and tax free, so I should expect to get paid a bit less in the US to start with I guess?

no US visa needed in this case btw.

    Thanks
