JAMMBO that looks at everything under the sun but does a ton of deals (platforms and ads ons). Culture leans more intense and they work hard. 1st year associate comp is in ~$275k range, which is great for the Dallas area. Historical performance was phenomenal, but last and most recent funds are meh. Interview process leans more consultant friendly, so if you are a banker prep for market sizing and consultant type questions. Leaning into AI more than most other PE funds, tbd how that changes things.

This is super helpful, I’m a 2nd year analyst at MBB but have prepped for paper LBO, is the technical component going to be much more than that?

Also two quick follow ups
1. how do they compare to other shops in Dallas?
2. Generally speaking, how do check on recent fund performance?
