Worked across from them on some deals, Australian sovereign fund is their biggest LP I believe. Otherwise, the people I worked across from didn’t seem very sharp but rather laidback.

Completely agree. Interviewed with them and people were so smug. This was SF office. Obsessed with needing a passion for their business model, which was someone alluded to is very opaque. It’s a job dude, shouldn’t have to be someone’s life calling (and the guy who’s it is probably isn’t the best candidate.) 

Otherwise stupid interview questions in my opinion. Drilling way too far down into some things like covenants on deals, seemed like they just did what they want with the candidate and probably didn’t replicate across applicants
