GIP Culture - 2023

Looking for some data points on GIP culture - have seen a few threads on here suggesting it’s brutal, but I wonder if it’s improved substantially following the addition of the Analyst program and what seems to be a larger Associate cohort.

Maybe some more pointed questions:
- How are the people? Have heard from others that people are Apollo-esque with no regard for personal time and are generally abrasive / sharp elbowed. Have also seen in another thread that culture improvement has supposedly been a focus for the fund. Any update on whether this has progressed at all or is it a marketing point?
- Are the hours brutal or have they become more manageable with extra hands?

I’m looking at the fund as a potential lateral, however I’ve seen a few recent departures on LinkedIn after only a short period of time with the fund, which suggests to me that something is up. Any feedback would be appreciated.
