Curious if anyone knows anything about the group and what type of projects they are generally on and the exposure to different industries/ exit ops. Thanks!

Career Resources
Primarily Information Technology, but also some consumer/retail and maybe some industrials, not exactly sure. Heard it's a really good culture, with strong deal flow. But who knows about right now, with whole economy slowing down.
I'll bite because I see you haven't gotten much info.
It's the Chicago based Middle Market group that recently rebranded under that name. It sits outside of the normal NY banking teams (i.e. recruits separately) and is based in Chicago but I think has hired some non-Chi seniors recently.
My understanding is that the group was started by poaching some Blair bankers that mainly focused on technology (like IT services, etc.) because Gugg wanted to build out a middle-market platform. The team has been making a killing lately and is expanding at a pretty ridiculous clip. Think like 20 senior bankers. Given the growth, I bet the industry focus is broader now. I've heard nothing but good things about the culture.
Exits are probably not yet established because the group is only a few years old.
Thanks so much for the help!
What would you guess exits would be similar to?
Hey, do you know what exits are similar to?
Exits are a little garbage imo. It's a very middle market group with deep frat culture. Exits have been executive office at carlyle (not PE) and a very random VC shop, and other exits to MM PE
Does not have frat culture nor are exits garbage. Platinum Equity, Genstar, BDT/MSD, Oak Hill Capital are recent exits.
Is this the Secondary Advisory group under Orcun?
Nope. Not the same.
any info on this group?
Anyone have info on 2024 SA PEAG Chicago
Believe they have kicked off. Some superdays this week with additional interviews scheduled for next
