Headhunters- what are you seeing?

Are there any headhunters in this forum? What are you seeing in terms of hiring trend in the next 6 months-1 year for various investing strategies? A friend of mine told me a headhunter told him things might re-start in a few weeks; looking out 6-12 months, so you see things slowing down significantly or does it vary a lot by strategy?
