HEC Paris MiF and PE recruitment

Hi guys. So I'm officially admitted to the master in international finance at HEC Paris. The program is ranked #1 by FT and has a 97% conversion rate for interns. I've seen on LinkedIn an astonishingly large number of students get PE analyst position right out of the program, even more than LBS (in London).

Just thought I'd ask what my chances are getting into PE out of the program and what it really takes to stand a chance. Unfortunately I don't have any PE experience but I'm trying to at least get part-time.

Thanks in advance.
