Help: Salary Negotiations Financial Analyst Private Credit Lending First Job UNDERGRAD

Hi All,

I was hoping if anyone could provide some salary ranges for financial analyst jobs? I just got a job offer from a company think:  erience, so I just want to make sure I am being paid fairly. I do know my way around excel, but will have to learn how to build models for sure.

tldr: wanting salary negotiation advice/comp averages for financial analyst role straight from undergrad,

Thank you for your help.

Is this for an investing role? Or fund valuation/ fund accounting type role?

Assuming investing role here.. Base and bonus is low (think Analyst pay starts at at least 90 to 100 base in major COL cities and bonus can vary from 30-60%) but given you have no prior experience, midwest based and private credit landscape is tough to break in at Analyst level in the sense that there are fewer opportunities to begin with.. If, I were you I would take the role since ill get a brand name private credit experience and then switch to a street paying fund after 1.5 - 2 years.
