H.I.G Capital London

Anyone have any insights? A few threads exist on this forum on H.I.G but sparse views on London specifically - so would be great to get any insight into culture / performance / strength generally.

Specifically understand they have two 'teams' - MM team (which recently raised the EUR 2bn fund) and LMM team (raised a EUR 1.1bn fund in Sep last year). Would be grateful for any insights specifically re. both teams to the extent possible (i.e if the MM team is a particularly more attractive seat than the LMM team as an example) / or just any insights in general regarding both teams.

Cheers all!

Did hear on the grapevine they offer co-invest opps from associate which may slightly mitigate the lower pay (if you're committed to staying of course) - only anecdotal though

I can confirm cash comp is below market. However in theory the coinvest would bring you at and most likely above market assuming historical performance holds, although to be fair you should apply some type of apples to apples adjustment for future versus present value. Vesting is after two years.

Msummer2020, what's your opinion? Comment below:

From what I know, they tend to favour consultants over bankers recently - a shit ton of their recent hires have been ex-MBB.
