HIG Whitehorse
Does anyone have any experiences working here? What is the culture, WLB/hours, comp like? Is it just like their equity fund? Saw some dated threads but would be great to get some updated info.

Bump interested as well.
Know someone who worked here. Understand there's been a lot of recent turnover across all levels, so should be indicative of culture
Info is stale by about 1 year but know someone who was there and hours are definitely tough. Regarding comp, heard total comp 250k
Oh wow that's ridiculously low.
Yes your number is stale. This went up late 2021.
Interviewed there. Senior people I think get paid well; can co-invest in equity deals. But they were upfront and said we work hard and it didn't seem like the place where people are going to be nice to you. No non-sense serious hard working place. Will say they have some senior-level credit folks who probably know what they're doing. May not be for everyone but not a bad brand.
All levels get to coinvest in the equity funds.
Lot of turnover, ton of their book is getting placement in the private equity funds credit investments even though they are “independent” of one another
Approx 3% of book FYI
