Houston IB PE exit opps

What are PE exit opps like for Houston IB? I am considering offers from a few Houston EBs and am wondering how easy it is to exit to an infrastructure or energy transition PE fund. Are there any decent infra/energy transition funds in Houston? If not, is it possible to exit to such funds in NYC? I understand it is difficult to exit to a generalist PE fund, but I have no interest in that. How do infra funds view bankers with energy backgrounds vs PUI backgrounds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
