How important are SAT scores for recruiting?

Talking to HHs for off cycle opportunities, how important are SAT scores? Didn’t have a high one (1440) so it won’t be on my resume. But can I just say I forget/didn’t take it when being asked by firms and HHs?

Discussed ad nauseam, search in here

Would not recommend lying - 1440 is not going to stop you if you have solid group/bank/GPA/good references/etc

All that any firm is screening for is some indicator of intelligence (which can be done via above) ie. if we hire you will you make our lives harder because intellect (not that test scores are the ultimate arbiter of that)

Would add that someone likable/sharp/good deal reps will get the gig over the 1600 who came across wrong, so focus on prep, crushing your banking job, things you can control rather than stressing over test scores
