How often do PE firms hire directly from a PropCo?
Let's say a PE shop acquire a company and over time they identify someone in that company's finance/FP&A team as being a particularly high performer, so they decide to bring them aboard to support future acquisitions.
I'm sure this is rare, but have you seen it happen? If so, what role was that person doing at the acquisition company and what position were they hired for at the PE firm?
