How to break in right after graduation (DACH / Europe)

Hi all, wondering if there is any ways to break in right after graduation in Europe. I know that it might be utterly competitive for Partners Group, but there seems to be a ton of boutiques particularly in CH.

How is the competition and is there any ways to be considered right after graduation for internships? Is it worth it to apply even if there is no opened positions?

I come from a local-target (or semi-target depending on your views) with a MFin but yet no experience in IB/PE. Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter...

Cheers,
