How to Lateral Full Time from Farmville

Hi everyone, I am an incoming summer analyst at a Big 5 Canadian Bank in NYC. I really want to lateral to a Big 3 Buldge Bracket or an EB. I go to a non-target in the Midwest with no alumni and don't even know how to approach FT recruiting. I feel that if I don't make the jump to a bigger bank full-time, my chances of on-cycle PE recruiting are over.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thank you for your help
