How to make most of summer internship?

I'm currently a junior majoring in mechanical engineering with a finance minor from a target school in NYC. I managed to land an analyst internship in the city this summer at a PE firm where I'll be on their industrial team (their portfolios for this sector involves companies specializing in adhesives, polymers, etc.). Since this will be my first corporate internship, I'm wondering if there are any general tips to make the most of it? I understand the company doesn't provide return offers to interns, but I do want to leave a good impression on the senior associates I'll be shadowing. I'm hoping there are ways (if any) to leverage myself for a future job position and/or to further my financial career going into my senior year come fall. Any additional tips from people in similar situations as me, as a non-finance major, would be greatly appreciated as well - happy 4/20 everyone!
