How to Use GoBuyside?
Is there a way to use GoBuyside in a way to best position yourself to recruiters? Similar etiquette to LinkedIn? Obviously without the cringe.

I think it’s sort of a scam. The interview reports can be helpful tho.
I got an analyst offer at Vista through the GBS resume drop. I also got an interview at a couple of dinky LMM firms but withdrew from both because they were legitimately shitty firms (one bad returns, one bad culture).
I signed up back when i was going from IB to PE (7 years ago) and they were super spammy back then. Constant emails and it seemed like they would apply for jobs on my behalf because I kept getting interview notifications for things I never applied to. Not sure how it's changed since then.
