HPS Specialty Lending thoughts

Can anyone share any thoughts on comp, wlb, the group in general? Seems like the team is split between NYC and SF with most in NYC. What’s the difference between specialty lending and Strategic Investment partners?

Strategic Investment Partners (SIP) is the mezz strategy that changed its name. It's mainly a junior capital lender for large borrowers. Specialty Lending Fund (SLF) is a direct lending strategy (senior debt) that focuses in complex situations. In addition to this, HPS has a strategy called Core Senior Lending, which is a plain vanilla direct lending.
