Hi, I'm wondering if anyone is willing to share their story from a MM/LMM IB firm to PE? Is that even possible, or a lateral is mandatory? What if the lateral did not happen, whether it was due to a lack of trying, market conditions, or failed interviews? Some users have been saying that they have no problem getting interviews from MF/UMM firms being at MM banks --- not the best MM banks --- but that's totally not the case for me.
