If I took 7 and a half hours to schedule my interview after receiving an interview invitation, did I ruin my chance being hired?
I received an interview invite in the early afternoon today by email. However, I did not realize that I got the interview until a few hours later. When I read the invitation, I was unsure about which time slot I should pick and spent some time contemplating when I should schedule the interview. If I took 7 and a half hours to schedule my phone interview, does it negatively impact my candidacy?
You've already been removed from existence in their eyes, don't even know why you submitted it after all.
It's over

Am afraid so OP. They expect candidates to demonstrate the same rigor they can expect from analysts, who will respond within 5 mins even at 4am on a weekend night - best of luck in your other roles
To be fair back in my associate recruiting days I missed a 3am email for an interview with one of the MFs during on-cycle weekend, and read it at 630am. All slots had been filled. LOL
Why would they send out more invites than actual interview slots available?
