Career Resources
Complimentary handjobs. Can't have the fresh associates be too tired to actually work after jerking themselves off all over town.
The comp question is way too broad to answer. For perks:
KKR
- Catered breakfast / lunch, ~$35 dinner stipend past 8 PM
- Car home after 9 PM
- 401K match for Principal and above, but not for associates
- Ability to co-invest in funds being raised ($100k minimum commitment) and individual deals you work on (believe $25k minimum commitment but may be flexible); co-invest leverage only offered to Principal and above
BX
- $20 lunch stipend, $35 dinner stipend past 6 PM
- Car home after 8 PM
- 401k match up to $5k per year but with a bad vesting schedule (5 years to fully vest)
- Unique co-invest program whereby you can commit to any active fund one time per year (in January) up to a certain $ threshold ($100k total for associates). Firm offers co-invest leverage through third party. Structure of this prevents from needing to file a K-1 with taxes
For comp, don’t all analysts get paid the same 110k base at BX? Not sure the range for bonuses though.
Not sure, sorry. Tbh wouldn’t really focus on comp at the analyst level, it becomes quickly meaningless in a finance career (you’ll get paid more than enough at any good job) so it’s more important to focus on what you learn / what the role sets you up to do longer term
That is correct. ASO1 is $140k.
Co-invest is actually capped at $150k at ASO level, 70% of which can be levered.
Any insight into perks at TPG/Carlyle/Apollo?
Anyone know details similar to the above for WP / TB / LGP? Starting at one of them this summer but don't have details on food / co invest / other perks
TB and LGP dont have analyst programs (anymore)?
