Hi guys, I'll be joining the Industrials group at an EB FT this Summer. I was curious if I'd be able to exit to a tech-focused buy-side role? I understand not being in the tech group would be a disadvantage, but is it even possible?

You'll be fine, some places only recruit from tech backgrounds (e.g., IVP hires Qatalyst and iirc have all been tech backgrounds) but you'll be fine elsewhere. It's not like there are no tech Associate jobs who hire people with no tech backgrounds.
