Internship interview to offer time frame
Currently interviewing with 2 different PE firms in Chicago. Smaller funds both with around 10-20 employees each from analyst to MP. After a phone interview and in person introduction/office visit at my preferred firm, I have yet to hear back. I sent out thank you emails to everyone I spoke to, it has been 2.5 weeks and still nothing back. When should I expect to hear back? With an interview coming up at Firm 2, I do not want to accept an offer and then have to revoke.
Do smaller firms tend to ghost their candidates or avoid rejection emails? The anticipation is frustrating.
