Intro to PE

Hey guys, I'm looking to learn more about private equity, but I'm not sure where to start. I know the general industry and how to break in, but I was hoping to learn more about the processes of LBOs, valuations, considerations/risks, etc.

So far I've been told to read "Venture Capital and Private Equity: a Casebook" by Joshua Lerner and a few others that are more anecdotal such as "Barbarians at the Gate: the fall of RJR Nabisco."

Are there any other books/resources that you guys might know of? I just accepted a summer analyst position for 2021, so time is definitely on my side for now, but I wanted to get a head start.
