Investment team salaries as percent of total management fee?
Trying to gauge my compensation and would like to know what percent of management fees usually go to salaries. Does anyone have input? For comparison, i'm at a small fund with less than 10 investment team members
From Investopedia "Private equity firms normally charge annual management fees of around two percent of the committed capital of the fund."
Obviously this translates to pay for investment operations. I'm not sure what the percentages are though.
