Has anyone ever heard of this firm? I was looking at it for a summer internship after my sophomore year and was wondering if a place like this would help with BB IBD junior year internship recruiting. The only real reason I am thinking about this is that it is close to my house and i would not have to go live in NYC for a summer.

Solid mezz shop in the CT region, very difficult to get an internship at from what I’ve heard from others (I went to college in CT). As most buy-side shops do, they look for exceptional students who have a passion for PE.
Look at the past interns and see where they have gone. Go on LinkedIn and type in Ironwood Capital Private Equity intern, and you’ll find where others have went. Looks like they’ve sent a few kids to IBD, buy-side shops, and the like. An impressive group of former interns
Looks like a lot of employees went to UConn might be a firm that likes to give back to the local university.
