Is activism more like PE or L/S?
Just went through a L/S interview, really liked it, thought it was fairly academic and interesting, like business evaluating and forming a thesis. Hated PE, way too in the weeds, stupid accounting bullshit trying to count dollars that the business obfuscated (rather than playing by the rules of GAAP). Not sure if I should check into the Activism route.

Appreciate the response. LO value makes sense. Can you be a bit more descriptive in day-to-day of activism and how that might be different than what you imagined before you took the job?
