Is Spectrum Equity venture growth or growth buyouts? Will it feel like working in late stage VC or will it feel like working in PE?
Thanks, title says all. VP level. Everyone VP level basically has investment banking backgrounds so think it probably will be PE. They also talk about focused portfolio so also thinking growth buyouts. But know they do some minority. Just not sure if it will be the typical rigamarole of bullshit PE diligence.

Spectrum is more growth buyout / traditional growth equity vs. late-stage VC. Think Summit/TA but smaller average check.
It looks like they've done a few "VC-like" deals but the vast majority of their portfolio is growth equity/buyout
So to answer your question, it will feel similar to PE with more active sourcing
