I have went to undergrad with a major in business admin/financial economics at one of top Asia schools (#1 in my country - located in APAC) and going into
Prior to law school, I have done off-cycle internships at JPM IBD and local private equity firms in my country, with hopes to leverage on those experiences to pave my way into IB (Boutique restructuring teams possibly) and then into private equity in the US.
Big law sounds better than PE to me after three years as an associate. Why not profess to partner and the. pivot to PE Founder and start your own firm.
