JMI Equity vs. Spectrum Equity

• Can't go wrong with either reputationally
• Believe JMI pays more, but Spectrum seems to be slightly better on internal promotes
• Spectrum is a bit lower-velocity on deals. You may not be able to get as many reps, although on the other hand that usually translates to better WLB
• Both firms are bicoastal and culture is very different between each office. Best is either Spectrum SF or JMI DC

Check out retention before joining any firm. One of these places I think is terrible to work at. No learning and basically rewards just trading leads.
