Depends on HH and the PE fund. Seems like a 50/50 split on MFs/UMMs not being willing to interview JPM candidates on cycle and in the first waves of off cycle as they don’t want to risk any damage to their relationship with JPM. Off-cycle processes ~12+ months in and things are different, there are just less seats available. Haven’t heard of any JPM kids getting fired for signing offers yet. Long way to say, it’s possible but harder than it used to be for JPM candidates to recruit on cycle.
