Jump to PE from Non finance?

Hi all. Wanted to gauge your thoughts on the possibility of jumping to private equity from a non-traditional (non financial) background.

I’m a successful influencer with a huge brand and millions of followers. My mom has been in business her whole life as a marketer of sorts, so I have great exposure to the business world through this. My dad was an attorney, so I’m familiar with many of the legal aspects. PE has always been my true passion and I’d love to be involved in business. Thanks for any insight
