Junior need for suggestion 2(From China)

Hello,
I am a Chinese former Big 4 employee. I was expecting an average life. However, Recently, i was dumped by my girl friend. So i reconsidered my life.
I plan to go back to school for MBA at my early 30s, i believe i may target one of the ivy league. Here are my questions:

   1. I had a banchler degree from Canadian University and a master degree from UK university. However both schools are not famous. Therefore, will it be a barrier for me to get into an investment banking or private equity

after MBA?

   2. Currently, i have two job choices, I can either go back to big 4 or i can go to a Chinese state-owned private equity. Which one should be better if i would like to go to US private equity or international bank after MBA?

Many thanks, and sorry about my poor english.

1) No, it will not be a barrier if you can network efficiently. 2) If you want to work in U.S. PE, I would say that you should take up that offer at the Chinese state-owned PE. PE firms here expect ~2 years of prior transaction experience (Usually from IB), but if you can get that experience at the Chinese PE firm, I think that would help greatly.
