Kaushik Ravi Elevate/Varde Partners?
Hi guys:
I recently come across this site by a guy called Kaushik Ravi: https://www.elevatelab.org/about
It has a bunch of recruiting resources; the founder claims to still be a director at Varde Partners leading its North America PE strategy on the website and his LinkedIn; however, when I go to Varde’s websites, he’s not listed as a senior member of the team..
Does anyone know Varde know if this guy is legit? He’s still there?

this is incorrect. If you scroll down on the training page, you'll see they have senior IB/PE professionals. Have watched a few of their events and they bring on lots of people to share their advice. Not sure what the training is all about exactly, but seems pretty legit as well.
Some of his bios that come up from a Google search state "formerly of Varde Partners"
Find it hard to believe that any firm would allow a relatively senior current employee to do that....esp. as it looks like it takes a lot of time.
Would skip. Everyone is a student or incoming, and the website looks like garbo which isn't a great sign.

In addition to being exceptionally sophomoric and cringe worthy, his bio and LinkedIn are also egregiously misleading.

How's his LinkedIn egregiously misleading? Seems pretty similar to a lot of finance LinkedIns I've come across.
Probably because he lists himself as a current employee at Varde....
I haven't seen one person write Associate / Vice President ever. So cringeworthy.
I've spoken with the man. He is pretty legit and insightful. While I have not seen his course nor know of any students taking it, a few of my colleagues are indeed a part of the program and help with some of the content curation. Also, it seems as though he's had some high profile people on his platform from Mark Cuban and Anthony Scarmucci.
Used to work with him in GS FIG a while back. He's not a fraud for sure, he's legit, but I don't know what he's doing exactly with this elevate stuff. I don't think he works at Varde - this is his full time business I believe.
Guy is definitely legit!
he’s trying to market his first-time business, so maybe it’s high on the superlatives.
I can tell from the kind of folks he brings on this episodes, he’s working very hard to scale
but this is a tough market. WSO has network effects going on for it. He’s far behind the curve
Just like most paid IB recruiting resources, they’re legit but they’re not necessary. Just network and study for the interviews. Breaking into the industry is hard but the steps you need to take are perfectly clear. There, I just saved you thousands of dollars
