I have an insight as I interviewed with them extensively, although I chose another opp. Are you interested in the intern / analyst spot? Happy to PM if you can provide info on what you're after and what position. Cheers
Growing team - mainly focuses on Tech / Healthcare investments.
They do both primary investment and secondary buyout (think they bought a company that was owned by IK small cap team), the deals are okay interesting I would say.
Think people are good, and culture as well. They managed to hire mainly Ex-BB and got people who came from top Tech sponsors like Hg.
Think pay is below market standard, but think this place will be a gem in maybe 5 years.
They take interns but would not recommend it, you won't be drafting IC paper and mainly be doing portfolio work, and pay is horrendous.

Thanks for the detailed comment. Can you please expand upon why you don’t recommend interns coming in here? Also how is the interview process for the intern position?

They do convert, and take 2 interns x 6 months in London.
Process is 3 interviews, happy to walk more in detail but would say that these type of places, unless you are real value add, with strong previous modelling exposure, you would not be doing much "real" work. A friend was described that she "may" be staffed on writing IC memos but most work would be around portfolio monitoring etc. Don't know if interns allowed to join the IC meetings, etc. Having said that, if you are very good, I guess you will be staffed more. I think the issue is that they do not have any Analyst or resources in London to actually teach you

Can you give more guidance on comp pls?
Don't quote me but think HH mentioned 85-90k for Associate 1. Bonus maybe 80-100%, but good lifestyle move
