Fund of funds. Decently regarded but their LPs are all retail money
They also have the government as an LP for their VC fund, and I think some other GPs are LPs.
It’s a bit more Byzantine though. Their venture investments are direct, and I think their PE team has historically done direct. Don’t quote me, but I think they actually own a Canadian surgical business or something (unless my memory is off and it was a co-invest)
