Kinterra Capital - thoughts?
Anyone have any insight on comp (both as an intern and FT), exp, culture at Kinterra/Waterton in Toronto?

Ignore title (currently a VP in mining IB), but stay the hell away. Same management team that ran Waterton (had to wound down fund and "rebranded"). Absolutely terrible pay, not allowed to leave the office during the day, founding partner is a psychopath.
Any specific info on comp?
Waterton was 60k base for analysts, 10k bonus. Associates probably in the 120s. Doesn't sound bad on paper but the culture is horrendous, constant weekend work and late nights. Basically the same Waterton team so don't expect much has changed.
i've heard the same... terrible culture and terrible management, poor comp, one of the worst shops on the street.
what did you hear about founding partner (singular)? i thought it was plural being founding partners. there are only two of them as FPs now for Kinterra
