KKR/Apollo/Blackstone offers - pre employment verification

Before receiving a full offer from KKR/Apollo/Blackstone do they require you to disclose your previous actual W-2s or do you have to authorize your employer through one of those online services to disclose your actual pay?

I assume they do the date check verification, but just wondering if the bonus/total comp verification is normal at a senior level?

Is that a prereq for all investing jobs?  Assume not trying to negotiate for more money/asking for anything up front.
